Salt Creek Intermediate Tab:

Salt Creek Intermediate Tab: This song was really brought to the forefront by Bill Monroe and the Bluegrass Boys when his stellar banjo player, Bill Keith introduced his very unusually melodic banjo style. It was so unique and there was no sound that equaled it at the time. Almost immediately it transformed the way banjo players played their instruments, which was strictly Scruggs Style of picking. What does this mean for the guitar player you say? Well the melodic style was adapted to the guitar as well and you will find some of the bluegrass great guitar players using this style on their guitars - if you listen carefully. One of these artist's is Tony Rice, who is know as one of the best flatpicking guitar players of all time.

True Bluegrass InstrumentalsThis CD joins 2 of the truly great flatpickin' guitar greats, Tony Rice and Norman Blake. Each with their own distinct style, when blended together on the same song, they both sound incredible. Be sure to add Blake and Rice to your bluegrass collection
