The Ibanez RG350DX utilizes the double-locking edge III tremolo system that allows radical effects with very good tuning stability. This is a very wicked looking guitar from the stark white finish to the black plated hardware and shark tooth inlay in the fretboard.
Outfitted with (3) humbucking pickups and total control over pickup switching, this guitar is becoming a monarch in the industry.
The wizard neck of the Ibanez RG350DX is very fast and you will have a hard time putting this guitar down because it plays so easy. The neck is fully adjustable with a trussrod that is accessible from the headstock, beneath a removable plate.
Frets are large and smooth with no need to augment after receipt of the guitar.
The bridge pickup of the Ibanez RG350DX is an Alnico with Humbucking construction and will give you brilliant lead sound and stunning harmonics. The middle pickup is an Alnico Single Coil with high output and is designed to work in concert with the the neck and bridge pickups.
Finally , the neck pickup is a ceramic pickup and will give you the warm sounds required chording and rhythm type sounds. Overall you can expect a wide range of sound from the versatility of this guitar.
The Ibanez RG350DX that I played came very well setup right out of the carton. I found that the action was just as I would expect from a solid body guitar with light gage strings.
Harmonics were right on and there was no need for adjustment. The Edge III bridge gives a lot of control over intonation, with each string being individually adjustable. The user can easily adjust each string without the need for a technician intervention.
I think that the Ibanez RG350DX will be a very durable guitar and will give the owner many years of trouble-free service. The finish is rock-hard and all of the hardware is very durably finished
I don't like the short 1 year warranty period, but more manufacturers are gravitation toward the one year duration.

The Ibanez RG350DX, in my estimation is an entry level to intermediate level guitar. For an entry level position, it offers phenomenal features, great looks a very serviceable Edge III tremolo bridge.
Although not perfect, this guitar really delivers for a street price of about $400.00 and there is not much being offered to surpass it.
The low string action combined with the fast neck gives the beginner and intermediate player the chance to concentrate on their musical abilities, working on chord progressions and playing in high positions "up the neck", without concerning themselves with hard action and buzzing strings on the frets.
If you are a beginning music student or a dedicated intermediate guitar player this would be an incredible guitar to add to or be the cornerstone of your guitar collection.
